Contact Person: Captain Patrick Whitney, (575) 763-9436
Clovis Police are actively seeking to identify and capture a suspect described in three recent acts of Child Enticement in varying locations in Clovis. The suspect has been described by two different potential victims as a white male, 18 to 30 years of age, clean shaven face, wearing eye glasses and driving a red Pontiac 4-door car with tinted windows and a rear spoiler on the trunk lid. Year and model of the Pontiac car are unknown. In one incident near James Bickley Elementary School, the above described suspect approached a 12 year old girl in the above described suspect vehicle and offered the girl $20 to get into the car. The suspect went further to describe sexual acts that he wanted to do to the 12 year old girl. The girl was able to get away from the suspect. None of the victims have been harmed in any of these attempts. The suspect appears to be targeting pre-pubescent girls of the 10-12 year old age range. If anyone sees such an activity occurring, you are asked to contact law enforcement immediately by dialing 911!
