Clovis, NM  – July 7, 2014 – On Monday, July 7, 2014, at approximately 12:20 PM, the Clovis Police Department Dispatch Center received a 911 call from a property manager advising she went to check on a residence for unpaid rent. The property manager said upon entering the house she found legs laying out of a bathroom doorway. As the property manager went to look closer she discovered a dead body in the bathroom. The property manager said she immediately left the house and called 911 for help. The residence is located at 413 North Sheldon Street in central Clovis.

Clovis Police Officers arrived on the scene to find a deceased Hispanic male laying on the bathroom floor. The death is being investigated as a homicide at this time. The New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator was notified and responded to the scene.
