For Clovis Municipal Court traffic citations:
If you have chosen to pay the penalty assessment amount on your traffic citation, payment will be due within thirty days of the date of your citation. Make check or money order payable to City of Clovis. The address is PO Box 876, Clovis, NM 88101.

If you have chosen to see the Judge, you must appear in the Court at 217 West Fourth St, Clovis, New Mexico within 14 days of receiving your violation. (Courts are closed on most major holidays. Verify holiday dates with court staff).
To make payments or conduct business with Court Staff
- Monday through Thursday
- 7:00 AM to 12:00 noon and 1:00 to 5:30 PM,
If you have chosen to see the Judge for a traffic citation
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
- 7:00 AM to 8:15 AM
If you have been arrested or are charged with exhibition of speed, racing, leaving the scene of an accident, open container, minor in possession, DUI, possession of marijuana or paraphernalia, shoplifting, driving on suspension or revocation, or any other petty misdemeanor, you must see the judge and you will be able to sign in at court

If your citation is for no insurance, no driver’s license, registration, or defective equipment please notify court staff. You may be entitled to a reduction in fees or a dismissal
